German Football Legend Franz Beckenbauer Dies Aged 78


Franz Beckenbauer, the iconic figure in German football and widely regarded as one of the greatest players in history, has passed away at the age of 78.

Known by the moniker 'Der Kaiser,' Beckenbauer achieved the pinnacle of success both as a player and a manager. His illustrious career includes winning the World Cup with West Germany in 1974 as a player and later in 1990 as a manager.
