Tragic Accident in Abuja's Vicinity Claims Five Lives

 In a devastating incident near Abuja's Maitama District, a total of five lives were lost on Thursday. Firenationreporters reports that this catastrophe unfolded when a sand-carrying truck suffered a brake failure.

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FCT Command, Sector Commander, Chorrie Mutaa, confirmed the grim event. Mutaa stated that the rescue team from the corps successfully recovered the lifeless bodies of five individuals and tended to 10 others who sustained injuries.

Furthermore, the accident involved a total of 13 vehicles, including the ill-fated truck and a motorcycle, making this a substantial and unfortunate incident on the roadways.
