Ashanti Region: A vehicle wash attendant at Abirem passes away while washing at the bay.

Regrettably, a tragic incident occurred at Abirem Newtown in the Ashanti Region, where a washing bay attendant in his 30s lost his life while cleaning a truck. 

Regrettably, Nuhu, the deceased, lost their life upon reaching the hospital after being trapped under the truck's head during the cleaning process. 

The unfortunate incident took place when the attendant was tasked with cleaning the truck at the Alhaji Washing Bay situated in Abirem New Town, in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region. 

During the process of washing the truck's engine compartment, an unfortunate incident occurred where the truck's head unexpectedly descended, resulting in him being pinned underneath. 

It required the combined efforts of his colleagues, onlookers, and a professional towing team to successfully extricate him from the vehicle after several hours. 

He was promptly taken to the hospital by a group of officers who arrived at the scene when the incident occurred. 

The driver of the vehicle and the owner of the washing bay have been invited by the police at the Kenyasi District Police Command to assist with investigations. 

The late individual is survived by his expectant spouse, with whom he had recently entered into matrimony.
